Momentum Magic
April 10th, 2027 - Disneyland Parade Performance - Anaheim, California
Let's Make Some Magic Together!
Momentum Dance dancers ages 7–18 have the opportunity to perform alongside dancers from across the country in a parade down Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland! We are excited to bring this experience to our dancers as a unique opportunity to perform, travel, make new friends, and create memories together.
Dancers are expected to have at least one year of dance experience in any style. The parade choreography will be a jazz pom routine. To be eligible for the parade experience, dancers must be registered for at least one weekly class at Momentum Dance during the months of November 2026 through March 2027. Dancers must be Age 7 by January 1, 2027, and must be able to follow instructions and be without their parent on parade day for approximately 6 hours.

❋ Why we chose All Star Spirit…The All Star Spirit Extravaganza (ASSE) experience gives dancers high value at a low cost. Many similar programs package in meals, late-night parties, additional performances, and studio training, all of which are very fun, but add hundreds of dollars to the overall cost. (Most parade experiences start at $1,200 per dancer!)
We also wanted to consider your time. The ASSE parade experience only takes about a half day (typically 8am-2pm) whereas many other programs take at least two days of dancing along with all the additional events, most of which are behind the scenes and not spent having fun in the Happiest Place on Earth!
Location: Disneyland Resort — Anaheim, California
Performance: Disneyland Parade on Main Street, U.S.A.
Date: April 10, 2027
Dancers will perform as part of a large group of youth performers participating through our parade program partner, All Star Spirit Productions, coordinated through Disney Imagination Campus programming.
More detailed information regarding the performance schedule, arrival times, costumes, choreography, and event-day logistics will be provided as we get closer to the trip.
Typically parade dancers are expected to arrive at a host hotel around 8:00 am, perform around 11:00 am in a 30-minute parade, and are released early afternoon. It’s about a 5-6 hour commitment on the day of the parade. Dancers are then picked up by their families and can return to the parks to celebrate their amazing performance!

REHEARSALS & PARTICIPATION
Dancers agree to attend at least 10 rehearsals between December 2026 and March 2027.
Rehearsals will be pre-scheduled and dancers are encouraged to RSVP to the classes they plan to attend. There is one mandatory 90-minute rehearsal in December to learn the choreography. Each maintenance rehearsal will be 45 minutes, unless otherwise noted.
Rehearsal times and dates are subject to change. If no dancers have RSVP’d to a rehearsal at least 48 hours in advance, it may be canceled. Your participation fees include ten 45-minute lessons and one 90-minute choreography lesson. You are welcome & encouraged to attend as many rehearsals as you are able to. More rehearsals = more value!
Because dancers will be performing as a group, attendance and at-home practice is important! Dancers may be given homework and are expected to arrive on time, be prepared to participate, and communicate with Momentum Dance regarding any unavoidable absences. Dancers who have not mastered the choreography & technique may be required to attend additional rehearsals for that dancer we get closer to the parade performance. Private lessons available upon request.
